About me
Elissa Quist is an abstract painter in Denver, Colorado. As a graduate of Art Center College of Design, her influences were both classical and conceptual. Working in oil paint and wax, she utilizes the pigment saturation and texture to give form to the intangible. Her art focuses on the psychological effects of color and form. Endeavoring to create environments that reflect awareness, Elissa paints what lives in the subconscious, making visual those thoughts that form our perceptions.
